St. John's Church is part of the Church of England and is the village church of Silverdale. We welcome people of all ages and backgrounds. St John's has a thriving primary school. We strive to worship God in a way which brings comfort, joy and challenge to all present; and we seek to witness to the love of God in Silverdale and the wider community, aiming to serve the community with practical care, love and support.
Silverdale is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and Leighton Moss, the RSPB centre is located here.
People come to rest, reflect, walk and relax; even cyclists sometimes stop to worship at the church, still in their lycra!
The Church building is open every day between 10am and 4pm.
There are two services on Sunday morning: SUNDAY@9 at 9am - a time of informal worship and a more traditional service at 10:30am
There is also a service on Thursday at 10:30am.
